You have to love a vintage dress with the tags still attached! And deadstock (never sold or used by a customer)! We don't see a lot of these. The tag probably indicates the start of the march towards "amazing" plastic fibers that stop "wiliting, fading wrinkling shrinkage". This was an advancement in the 1950s! Be careful what you wish for... OK I'll stop preaching and tell you how much I love this dress: It's in a size that someone can actually wear (many vintage dresses have waists in 20s, despite the size), and there are details that are still intact-gold toned tips on the string bow, and embroidery on the belt. There are some stray strings from the embroidery, but overall this dress is in excellent condition.
